A venture round is a type of funding round where venture capital firms invest in a startup in exchange for equity.
The term is often used broadly and can include different series of funding (Series A, B, C, etc.).
Each venture round aims to provide the startup with the capital required to reach the next set of milestones, in exchange for diluting ownership.
